Beaming Lucy Spraggan has proudly showed off her weight loss and body transformation after ditching her unhealthy habits.

The talented singer and former X Factor star, 29, flashed her taut abs and gym-honed body as she shared a side-by-side comparison to her old life.

Posting a throwback snap of herself reaching for the junk food alongside one of her now, Lucy wrote: “GOOD MORNING MY DEAREST FRIENDS!! “It’s SATURDAY AND I’M EXCITED, MOTIVATED AND READY TO GO.”

The star then opened up about how she motivates herself to keep fit by weight-lifting before balancing it out with cake.

“I tend to relax a lot more on the weekends which can sometimes enable my laziness and unlock my passion for large bars of chocolate, so I remind myself, life is about balance and enjoyment,” she explained.

“I’m gonna get my lifters on, get my ass down to the gym and throw around some weights, then I’m going to have an afternoon of lounging and hitting the cake. “Tomorrow a nice long walk with my friends and all our dogs and a roast dinner.”

Lucy then explained: “Quite honestly I can (still) be prone to binge eating if I forget to include balance in my lifestyle. I used to think ‘I’ll have this as a treat’ and then I’d be really full of guilt and shame about what I’d eaten and I’d eat more to feel better. Then it’d go round in circles.

“I learnt that I am definitely worthy of cake and icecream, fruit and sweets, salad and steak and what I eat doesn’t define who I am. “I’ll be eating what is tasty this weekend whilst being conscious about how much energy my body needs and not over-fuelling it. Learning about that really changed everything for me,” she added.

It comes after Lucy gave up alcohol a year ago and has stayed sober ever since.

“Last year if you’d have told me I’d be sitting in nice bars with pretty girls, totally sober, waking up and going to the gym, I’d have told you to pull the other one. I’d have literally laughed in your face,” she told fans this week.

“2019 me would have been like ‘what a f**kin self-righteous t**t, I bet she’s not fun anymore’. I know I would have. And I would have said that because I was miserable. And I was fundamentally jealous of progress,” she went on.
