Love Island’s 2020 champions are still going strong, nearly a year after they won the ITV2 show.

Paige Turley and Finn Tapp have since consolidated their fame and moved in together, sitting out the second lockdown in the Manchester flat they bought together over the summer.

But despite their new fame and career success, the loved up couple aren’t splashing out on extravagant gifts this year – instead opting to save up for holidays.

Chatting with Heat, handsome Finn remarked: “We definitely want to wake up in our own flat together. I think we’re going to plan to maybe head up to Scotland to see Paige’s family over Christmas Day and Boxing Day, and then see my family after that.

“But obviously dependent on restrictions. We never know what it’s going to be in the next few weeks, but that is the plan.”

He added: “We’re probably not going to do gifts as in objects or things. I think we want to go down the route of putting what we’d spend [on presents] maybe on a holiday to make a few more memories, rather than just having sort of material things for Christmas.

“I think birthdays are a little bit different but with Christmas, I’ll hand her over something and she’ll hand me over something, so we were just like, ‘why don’t we put it towards a holiday and that’s that.'”

Finn was rumoured earlier this year to be on the verge of popping the question.

And though he would love to get down on one knee in front on Paige, he admitted he hasn’t done any “solid planning.”

“I’ll be going all out when the time comes,” Finn shared.

Paige and Finn triumphed in January’s series, just edging out Siannise Fudge and Luke Trotman, who are also going strong and are shacked up together.

And opening up on wedding plans, Paige told the Mirror: “We’ve actually, in Manchester, we’ve seen a bride and a groom.
