Curtis Pritchard is reportedly signing up to E4 show Celebs Go Dating, as he ramps up his search for a girlfriend.
The 24-year-old professional dancer was involved in one of the most dramatic dumpings in Love Island, when he decided to leave Amy Hart for Maura Higgins.
Curtis finished fourth in the ITV2 show with Maura but their relationship never really blossomed and under the cloud of cheating allegations, the pair broke up months after leaving the villa.
Now Curtis is looking to follow his brother AJ and take on another reality show in the hope the perfect partner will be there for him.
Former Strictly Come Dancing star AJ is currently at Gwrych Castle in North Wales, as he looks to be crowned the King of the Castle on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The Sun has reported that Curtis is a last-minute booking on the E4 dating show and a TV insider has described him as “one of the most sought-after celebrities on the box.”
The source claims that Curtis is “a natural for reality telly” with show bosses hoping he will have “another romance similar to the one he enjoyed when he was on Love Island.”
Curtis and Maura dated for seven months but their schedules after Love Island often meant that they couldn’t be together.
Rumours of Curtis becoming close to another professional dancer was ultimately enough for Maura to call time on the relationship.
The Celebs Go Dating cast have been asked to isolate ahead of the show, with former Strictly star Karim Zeroual and Gary Lineker’s controversial brother Wayne also lined up for some dating action.
While they will still be paired up with ‘civilians’ in their search for love, this time the dates will be done virtually rather than face-to-face.
This doesn’t mean that sparks won’t fly as they celebrities will all be living in a house together, in a Big Brother styled twist to the format.
