Louise Redknapp has paid an emotional tribute to her son Charley on his 16th birthday.
The singer, 45, took to Instagram to celebrate her ‘big boy’ with a series of sweet snaps from throughout the years.
The former Strictly Come Dancing star, who shares Charley and his younger brother Beau, 12, with ex Jamie Redknapp, described her son as funny and strong in the precious post.
Louise penned: “To my amazing big boy @charley_redknapp. I’m so proud of the man you’re becoming.
“You make me laugh you make me strong and to have you by my side means we’ll always be Ok.
“I don’t know what I would do without you! Happy 16th Birthday babe I love you.”
She jokingly added: “Now stop growing and eating me out of house and home.”
After sharing the heartfelt post, the singer was flooded with comments insisting that Charley was Louise’s double.
“He looks so much like his mamma, it’s actually kind of crazy,” gushed one admirer.
“16? Wow, he honestly looks about 22!! Good genes that!! He takes after you. You’re twin!” a second echoed.
“What a handsome young man. He is genuinely like your twin. Happy Birthday Charley!” a third shared.
A fourth commented: “Good gracious what a gorgeous young man he’s turning into. Looks just like his mum!”
Last month, Louise gushed over her ex-husband Jamie when she thanked him for the ‘amazing’ job he’s done in raising their boys.
The former Eternal singer split with the ex-footballer back in 2017 after 19 years of marriage, but has credited Jamie for how great their sons have turned out.
Despite the pain of their divorce, Louise revealed she still thinks very highly of Jamie as she celebrated him in an emotional post to her 700,000 social media followers.
Sharing a picture of Jamie posing with Charley and Beau, Louise wrote alongside it: “Jamie, Thank you for being an amazing dad to our boys.”
The post came shortly after the mum-of-two revealed she’s ready to finally start looking for love again after three tough years.
“I’m very single at the moment, which is not a good thing.
“My eldest is 15 and super-protective over me. But he knows he can talk to me about anything and doesn’t need to be embarrassed, I’m so open,” she said in an interview with The Sun.
Louise revealed that her beloved Charley had given her his blessing to date again.
“One morning he said to me, ‘If you ever did want to go on a date, I’d be OK with it’. It was actually a big moment as he’d always been quite vocal that I’d never go on a date.
“They always hope their mum and dad will work things out,” she admitted.
