Louise Redknapp shares cryptic post about ‘fighting for love’

Louise Redknapp has left fans scratching their heads after sharing a cryptic post about love.

The former Strictly Come Dancing finalist, 46, puzzled her 716k followers on Thursday as she posted a poem about “fighting for love” to her Instagram Story.

The update comes after the mum-of-two said the pandemic had made it impossible for her to meet anyone.

The poem, entitled Love, read: “Some days she’s a warrior.

“Some days she’s a broken mess.

“Most days she’s a bit of both, but everyday she’s there. Standing. Fighting. Trying.”

Last month Louise voiced her doubts that she’ll ever get a boyfriend again after she was gifted a vibrator for her 46th birthday.

Louise told how she’s not been on a date in three years since her marriage to Jamie Redknapp crumbled in 2017 following her Strictly Come Dancing stint.

She also opened up about her struggles with the dating world – explaining that, first, she must get her teenage son Charles’ approval.

And then of course there is the pandemic to consider, with restrictions preventing any meet ups.

Louise told Sophie Ellis Bextor’s Spinning Plates podcast: “I don’t think I’m ever going to be able to have a boyfriend because, first of all, the 16-year-old is like, “Well, how they’re going to get past me?”‘

“Still haven’t been on a date! Lockdown is not helping me in the dating world.'”

But Louise did say her son Charles has given her permission to date.

She told The Sun: “My eldest is super-protective over me. But he knows he can talk to me about anything and doesn’t need to be embarrassed, I’m so open.

“One morning he said to me, ‘if you ever did want to go on a date, I’d be OK with it’.

“It was actually a big moment as he’d always been quite vocal that I’d never go on a date.”

Meanwhile, her ex Jamie has moved on with model Frida Andersson-Lourie.
