Louise Redknapp has shared her heartache at the passing of her beloved rescue dog Corky.
The 45-year-old singer posted an emotional tribute to her four-legged companion on Instagram, as she came to terms of the loss of the family’s pet.
Louise had adopted the then two-year-old Jura Hound in 2016, after she found the dog needing a home from Cyprus through London foundation Wild At Heart.
The charity helps re-home stray dogs from around the world and Louise was taken by Corky and brought him into the family home.
Louise posted photos of her cuddling Corky on Instagram and shared her heartache with her followers.
She wrote: “I’m so heartbroken to have to share with you that we lost our gorgeous boy Corky yesterday…
“I’m gonna miss the howling when there is someone coming in the house, the drool on the floor when there is food around and the big cuddles on the sofa.
“Thank you @wild_at_heart_foundation for bringing him in to our lives we adored him from the moment we got him.
“We will miss you so much sleep tight our beautiful boy love you forever xxx.”
Louise was inundated with messages of love and support as friends and fans rallied around her.

Louise wrote on their page: “We’re so sad to let all our lovely followers know that yesterday we said goodbye to our brother Corky.
“Our hearts are broken, we’ll miss that big tail wagging, the puddles of drool on the floor when there is food around and that howl when someone comes in the house… sleep tight gorgeous boy, we’ll always love you forever and we were so lucky to have you for the time we did xxx.”
