Louise Redknapp cheekily admits she’d ‘snog David Beckham if he was single’

During a Q & A session with fans at The Clapham Grand in South London the singer reportedly told how she would snog Becks, Leonardo DiCaprio or Robbie Williams if they were single

Louise Redknapp is reported to have cheekily admitted she’d love to snog David Beckham – if he was single.

The singer told fans she’d plant the lips on Becks if he wasn’t married to his wife Victoria while playing a game of ‘snog, marry or avoid’ during her socially-distanced gig on Friday, reports The Sun.

The singer and husband Jamie Redknapp split in 2017 after 19 years of marriage and since then Louise has not had a serious boyfriend.

During a Q & A session with fans at The Clapham Grand in South London on Friday the former Eternal singer was asked who she’d rather snog, marry or avoid out of Becks, Leonardo DiCaprio or Robbie Williams.

She revealed: “I’d most probably snog them all if they were single.”

The 45-year-old singer was also quizzed on her love life as she left the show and told how she is “very, very single”

Louise also hinted at the gig that Eternal could reunite 15 years after she left to pursue a solo career.

She revealed it is definitely something “she’d be up for” and that the band have “talked about it”, adding: “Who knows . . . we’ll see what next year brings”.

Louise recently confessed she turned down a huge role on US sitcom Friends in 1998.

She told how she turned down the part of Emily, wife of David Schwimmer’s character Ross Geller, in the hugely popular sitcom, to appear on Top Of The Pops to promote her Woman In Me album.

Louise said: “I didn’t have a lot of time and a lot of people were investing money into the album. Back in the day Top Of The Pops was huge, so I turned it down.”

Louise’s ex Jamie, a former Liverpool FC star, has previously spoken about David’s good looks, saying: “I’m no David Beckham — he was the player who cared more than anyone else and that’s why he was the first to transcend football. He’s definitely made it more glamorous.

“When I first signed for Liverpool we had beers on the bus — now it’s all hair gels and moisturisers in the dressing room.”

Louise was back on stage at the Clapham Grand after having to cancel her Heavy Love tour this year after the Covid outbreak.

Speaking of her career plans next year, she said: “It would be great to do more acting next year and I’ll be bringing out a new album.”
