Louis Tomlinson calls out host for ‘fishing’ about ‘1D beef’
Louis Tomlinson clapped back at a TV interviewer after the former One Direction singer was quizzed on his relationships with his former bandmates.
The 30-year-old singer appeared visibly annoyed when he was asked about Liam Payne’s recent rant about his former band members, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis himself, during an appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast.
The former One Direction star featured on Australian series The Project to promote his tour, and was asked to address the recent comments made by Liam about Zayn.
Last month, Liam sparked outrage when he made a number of controversial comments about Zayn’s behaviour, his upbringing, and his failed relationship with Gigi Hadid, while being interviewed by YouTuber star Logan.
The Strip That Down singer faced mass backlash after he insinuated that Zayn was a ‘disrespectful man’ following alleged claims last year that he had ‘pushed’ Gigi’s mother, Yolanda Hadid – claims which Zayn has vehemently denied.

In response to being asked about the One Direction drama following Liam’s savage comments, Louis clapped back at the interviewer as he joked the ‘fishing’ had started early on in the interview.
“So the fishing’s begun already. Yeah, I see what you’re doing,” Louis mocked.
“I’m immensely proud, as I know Liam is, I’m immensely proud of those days, obviously. It was an incredible thing to do, especially to do at such a young age. Amazing memories, man, amazing memories.”

Louis was then asked whether or not he found it frustrating that he is constantly asked about his One Direction past and the status of his current friendships with his former bandmates.
The singer replied: “Good question. I’m more than happy to talk about it in every interview.
“As I said, it’s something I’m immensely proud of. It’s just when you mentioned the beef before, it sounded like you were ready to stir some s*** up, that’s all I’m saying.”

Louis’ sass didn’t stop there however as the singer went on to mock to the interviewer once more before their awkward chat ended.
The Aussie TV host quizzed Louis on his opinion about a University in Texas dedicating a brand-new course to his former bandmate, Harry Styles.
Harry, 28, has been honoured with the university course in Texas which will will focus on his work, both in music and film, in order to ‘understand the cultural and political development of the modern celebrity’.

Seemingly uninterested about the news, Louis admitted that he wouldn’t be keen on a course being named after him.
“I don’t really have any interest in having a course made about me, to be fair, but each to their own,” he replied.
But when he was pushed on his view about Harry’s new accolade, Louis savagely replied: “You sound very interested, to be fair. Maybe you should sign up.”
