Kim Kardashian has reportedly tried to help husband Kanye West’s mental health but he ‘hasn’t wanted to know’.
The 43-year-old rapper has caused concern among his fans and family alike after he finished a wild 24 hours by lashing out at Kim and her mum Kris on Twitter.
This was after he had told a crowd at his first presidential campaign rally that he discussed aborting Kim’s first pregnancy, prompting a furious response in private.
Kanye is now holed up at his Wyoming ranch while Kim and the children stay at their Calabasas home, with the rapper claiming his wife had sent doctors to “lock” him up and perform an mental health intervention.
The 39-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had previously worried that Kanye’s bid to be the president of the United States was a bipolar episode.
Sources have told PEOPLE that Kim has tried “to get Kanye help for weeks” but he has spurned any approaches.
The source added: “But what do you do when a person doesn’t want help?
“Kanye is in Cody because he doesn’t want help. If he wanted help, he would come back to L.A.”
There are concerns among that Kardashian family about Kanye’s health and Kim is reportedly consulting doctors about a way forward.
The source continued: “Kim’s family is around to support her as always. And they love Kanye. They want him to be healthy.
“They are all trying to figure out how to help Kanye. They are in contact with medical professionals for guidance.”
During Kanye’s Twitter rant on Monday, he claimed: “Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up like on the movie Get Out because I cried about saving my daughters life yesterday.”
This is in reference to his comments about daughter North and how she was ‘saved’ from abortion after Kanye received a ‘message from God’ that told him he and Kim had to continue with the pregnancy.
