Kim Kardashian ‘putting on show of support’ ahead of Kanye West split, source claims
The reality TV star turned businesswoman has urged fans to be understanding, but said she felt ‘powerless’ to help her husband through his latest mental health crisis after he berated her in a series of late night tweets
Sources close to Kim Kardashian have hinted she will split with husband Kanye West – but not until the ‘time is right.’
Earlier today, Kim addressed her husband’s ongoing mental health battles after he made a series of public digs at her.
She explained she felt ‘powerless’ to help her husband as he ‘wasn’t a minor’
In a number of late night Twitter tirades this week, Kanye slammed Kim’s sex tape, her Playboy cover and claimed they almost aborted their daughter North after learning they were to become parents.
The 43-year-old rapper also said he would be ‘at peace’ if Kim wanted to divorce him before telling fans he’d been trying to separate from her for over a year.
Now insiders have disclosed their understanding that Kanye’s erratic behaviour won’t lead to Kim leaving him, but she’s likely to take action later down the line ‘when the time was right.’
A Kardashian source told Page Six that ‘now is not right time for divorce.’
“They’re smart enough to know it’s not a good look,” they added. “[Kim] will put on a show of trying to support him, then a divorce can happen later.”
After days of rants from Kanye, Kim shared her response to his behaviour on her own social media page today.
Taking to Instagram, the reality star turned businesswoman reminded fans that Kanye suffers with bi-polar disorder.
“He is a brilliant but complicated person,” explained Kim adding that his “words sometimes do not align with his intentions.”
She signed off ‘Kim Kardashian West’ in an apparent show of solidarity to her husband, who has allegedly retreated to a bunker in Wyoming to escape her help.
The pair married in 2014 and have four children together – with their youngest Psalm arriving in May 2019.
Last night, Kanye made the explosive claim that he’s been trying to divorce Kim since she allegedly met up with rival rapper Meek Mill.
“I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf for ‘prison reform’,” he tweeted.
In November 2018 Kim and Meek Mill both attended a criminal justice reform summit in Los Angeles.
Meek Mill has appeared to slam Kanye’s allegations this evening.
