Kim Kardashian has returned home to Los Angeles with her four children but has left husband Kanye West in Wyoming as ‘that is where he wants to live’.
The 39-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been holidaying with Kanye and the family since August 2, including a break in the Dominican Republic, but she has gone her separate ways from him again after he expressed a desire to continue living at their ranch.
Kanye, 43, has been seeking solace in the mountainous wilds of his Wyoming retreat since he was in the midst of a bipolar episode, which saw him hit out at Kim in a vicious Twitter rant.
He has seemed a lot calmer since being in Wyoming but is determined to push on with his presidential bid, despite the Kardashian family reportedly trying to dissuade him from doing so.
Kanye has spent some “daddy daughter time” with seven-year-old North, after Kim flew home from Cody with three of their kids – Saint, four, Chicago, two and 15-month-old Psalm.
North has now rejoined her mum in LA and a source has told PEOPLE that Kanye has stayed behind because Wyoming “is where he wants to live.”
Kim, on the other hand, is “happy to be back” in Los Angeles, with the source saying that she finds it “hard travelling with the kids for such a long time.”
There is still a question mark over the long term future of Kim and Kanye but the source continued: “Kim still seems focused on making her marriage work.
“She is pretty quiet about her exact plans for the future, but for now she seems okay with Kanye living in Wyoming.
“He is moving ahead with the presidential campaign. This is a decision that no one can change his mind about.”
It has been a difficult time for Kim and Kanye of late, with the rapper claiming during his Twitter rant that he has been “trying to divorce her for two years.”
Kim was reportedly ready to call it quits before she had an emotional reunion with her husband and now “wants to do everything she can to save her marriage.”
