Kim Kardashian joins Khloe in sharing ‘breathtaking’ pics after Kanye apology

Kim Kardashian and sister Khloe have both shared gorgeous black and white portraits of themselves after accepting a viral challenge from Vanessa Bryant.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars look resplendent as they showed off their stunning looks in pics that betray the turmoil the family had faced in recent weeks.

Kim, 39, received an apology from her husband Kanye West, after he tore into her during a couple of lengthy Twitter rants.

Kanye made a number of personal sleights against Kim, including saying that he had been trying to divorce her for the past two years after claiming her meeting with Meek Mill was more than just a discussion about prison reform.

Since Kanye spoke out at his first presidential campaign rally a couple weeks ago, Kim has kept a low profile on social media apart from issuing a statement in which she asked for compassion as her husband worked his way through a bipolar episode.

She was back to delighting her fans though on Sunday as she shared a close-up of her face in black and white, telling Vanessa “challenge accepted” before adding the hashtag “womensupportingwomen.”

Kim was joined by her 36-year-old sister Khloe in accepting Vanessa’s nomination.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was also chosen by her BFF Malika Haqq to take on the challenge and Khloe disappoint.

Pouting at the camera, she gave an aura of strength as she captioned the pic: “Challenge Accepted @vanessabryant and @malika thank you for choosing me for this! To all my Queens- Let’s spread love and remember to be a little kinder to one another #womensupportingwomen

Reality star Natalie Halcro led the cheerleading for Khloe’s snap, commenting: “You look breathtaking.”

It wasn’t all good news though, as there were a few knockers who thought it was inappropriate for Khloe to be involved in challenges like this during difficult times for the Kardashians.

One detractor commented: “Ur sister is having the worst time of her life and u’re out here doing god damn challenges?”

Kim was seen in public at the weekend, for the first time since Kanye issued his grovelling apology.

She looked sombre as she headed out for a solo drive in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon.

Kim did look like her usual glamorous self as she sported a full face of make up but was notably without the diamond engagement ring Kanye presented her with back in 2013.
