As fans know, Keeping Up with the Kardashians is coming to an end next year. That being said, one of the members of the large reality TV family, Khloe Kardashian, shared her thoughts on the show wrapping up for good in 2021.
While on the ‘Emergency Contact’ podcast, Khloe shared that she is excited for ‘another chapter to open’ although she also feels like KUWTK ending after so many years, is ‘devastating.’
Khloe confessed to hosts Simon Huck and Melissa Gray Washington that ‘It’s devastating for all of us. The day it happened, Malika [Haqq] and I were talking throughout the day, because you don’t have to be a main character — you’re still a part of this journey from day one, even if you were in the first episode or not. You have been you Simon, you Malika, you guys have been our family. You’re on this journey with us and just for any chapter to end, that doesn’t mean everything is ending for good. That just means there’s room for another chapter to open.’
Keeping Up with the Kardashians premiered back in 2007 and it quickly became one of the most popular reality TV shows ever!
Obviously, the series was able to capture and share a lot of events in the clan’s lives, both good and bad.
So, naturally, ending it feels like a huge loss. At the same time, however, Khloe also feels like it’s time they parted ways with the show that made them famous.
‘It’s sad, but we’ve been doing this for 15 years. We get two weeks off a year. It’s exhausting. We’re all in a different place in our lives and some of us need a nap. It’s hard because I’m not good with change, but that doesn’t mean I don’t need a break,’ Khloe explained.
