Kerry Katona shows infamous This Morning slurring interview to her children

Kerry Katona has shown her children the footage of her slurring her words in a famed interview on This Morning.

Naturally, she filmed their reactions, and shared it all on her new YouTube channel.

As Heidi, 13, Max, 12, and Dylan-Jorge, five, watched the footage, Kerry said she was accused of being drunk but that her bipolar medication had affected her speech.

Heidi said: “I’m fine with it, because I know you’re not drunk.” She added: “People just make fun of it.”

Max ribbed his mum by saying the footage from 2008 seemed like “a regular day”.

Kerry, 39, also explained why she was axed from her Iceland ad campaign in 2009, telling them: “I got sacked for doing drugs. I did cocaine in the bathroom where we lived and it got filmed.”

She asked the children what the moral of her story is, to which they all chorused: “Don’t do drugs.”

Mum-of-five Kerry, who was also joined by boyfriend Ryan Mahoney, showed her kids a “trip down memory lane, from being young and weird in a girl band to being judged for being on medication, and on mental health”.

The kids mocked her as “cringe” on Dancing on Ice, and scoffed that her prize-money for winning I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2004 was for charity, meaning she “didn’t get anything out of it”.
