Katie Price turns on the glamour as she films ‘deeply personal’ BBC documentary
The former glamour model is filming for a new documentary focusing on how she is caring for disabled son Harvey as he reaches adulthood
Katie Price has revealed she’s already started filming scenes for her upcoming BBC documentary.
In July it was announced the mum was working on an unflinching and deep personal one-off film about what it’s like to be the mum of a disabled child approaching adulthood.
Katie, 42, has raised her 18-year-old son Harvey – who suffers from partial blindness, Prader-Willi syndrome, autism, learning and behavioural difficulties – single handedly after splitting with his dad Dwight Yorke after he was born.
The former model, who has five children in total, took to Instagram today to reveal she was up early to welcome the production crew to her home.
During filming , Katie took an Instagram break and shared a snap of her gazing into the distance dressed in a cosy tie t-shirt and pink ogging bottoms.
Many of her followers were stunned by the My Crazy Life star’s flawless face in the photo, which appeared not to possess a single line or blemish.
“You are too beautiful to use filters. Get them off,” replied one who cruelly compared Katie to a ‘wax doll.’
“OMG stop with the filters,” advised another.
While others praised the work of Katie’s glam squad for achieving her polished look.
“I need to know what foundation you use,” cried one.
After seeing the rude replies another fired: “Katie you are a great mum ignore the stupid people they are jealous.”
Katie, who is no stranger to reality TV, announced news of her latest TV project back in July.
“For the first time I will be taking you behind the closed doors of mine and Harvey’s world. Experience a day in the life and what the future will look like for him and me. This is how we roll in Katie Price : Harvey & Me,” she said in a statement.
The show will focus on how Katie has dealt with helping Harvey now that he has reached adulthood.
“This is the most important time of his life, making the vital decisions, safeguarding his future and ensuring he has the tools for life that will give him the equal rights to live his life to the fullest,” she explained ahead of letting the cameras in on her life.
