Katie Price has received a “devastating” update about her broken feet.

After the former glamour model visited a specialist on her return to the UK, Mirror Online has learned that her injuries are not as straight forward as doctors originally believed.

Katie’s representative tells us that the star will be going into further detail on her YouTube channel, as she documents her recovery for fans.

She said that Katie’s injuries are not as straight forward as initially thought, but that she’s “being a trooper” throughout it all.

It comes after Katie posted on her Instagram story: “Just finished my appointment with my consultant and surgeon about my feet

“After further scans, the news is absolutely devastating…

“I’m gutted!”

Katie was pictured being pushed in a wheelchair as she headed to the Fortius Clinic in West London for her appointment.

The 42-year-old won’t be able to walk for six months as she has both of her feet in plasters and can’t put any weight on them.

After her initial trip to A&E in Turkey, Katie said it would be three to six months before she could walk again, but her daughter Princess, 13, has since said in an Instagram live video that it could actually be a whole year.

The mum-of-five was given fresh plasters on her feet during her visit to the clinic, but at the moment, the next stages are unknown.

It had already been said that Katie would need an operation, and there was talk of inserting pins into her heels to correct the injury.

The star suffered hairline fractures in her heels after an accident at a theme park during her holiday with Princess, son Junior, 15, and new boyfriend Carl Woods, 31.

She explained that she had been running and jumped over a wall to take a shortcut, not realising how big the drop was on the other side.

She’s already been forced to hit back at accusations that she’s actually been having bunion surgery, and that her broken feet are just a cover story.

Katie said: “By the way, someone said on my Instagram, ‘Oh she has had bunions done on both feet!’

“Well, when I have the X-rays and show you, I haven’t had bunions, I have never had bunions in my life!”

During the live video, Princess asked Katie what bunions are.
