Katie Price needs major surgery and won’t walk for six months in devastating diagnosis

The 43-year-old mum-of-five has been dealt some terrible news about her broken feet which will leave her out of action for almost half a year

Katie Price is said to be ‘devastated’ after being told she needs ‘major’ surgery on her broken feet that will leave her unable to walk for six months.

The former glamour model,43, had been praying for good news after breaking her heels while jumping off a wall at theme park in Turkey.

But after returning home and visiting the private Fortius clinic in West London today, Katie was given the diagnosis she’s been dreading.

A source close to the star told The Sun she’s been told recovery from her operation could take up to two years.

They revealed: “Doctors are saying she won’t be able to walk for six months, or put any weight on her feet.

“She needs major surgery on her feet ASAP as it’s worse than anyone realised.

“The recovery could take up to two years. She won’t even be walking around until well into 2021. She’s really upset and can’t believe it’s this bad.”

Katie hinted something was wrong when she took to Instagram last night and told fans: “Just finished my appointment with my consultant and surgeon about my feet.

“After further scans, the news is absolutely devastating. I’m gutted.”

Pictures then emerged of her being lifted out of a car to attend her appointment which she had to be wheeled into in her chair.

Earlier this week, Katie slammed trolls who accused her of lying about her injuries.

Online users had questioned if Katie had actually undergone bunion surgery instead of the freak accident she had claimed and was ‘faking’ breaking her feet.

Responding on Instagram, she fired: “By the way, someone said on my Instagram, ‘Oh she has had bunions done on both feet!’” Well, when I have the X-rays and show you, I haven’t had bunions, I have never had bunions in my life,” she said.

She also shared a video of her howling in agony as she was tended to by A&E doctors in the Turkish hospital where she was rushed after her accident.

After being told it could be months before she can walk again, Katie is said to be needing to move homes once again to a property with wheelchair access.

The news has led her to consider moving in with current boyfriend Carl Woods who has been supporting her throughout her ordeal.
