Katie Price has let her children take her mobility scooter out for a spin with her supervision during a family outing.
The former glamour model, 42, is using a wheelchair and a mobility scooter to get around after breaking both of her feet while on holiday in Turkey.
Katie said she jumped over a small wall, only to discover there was a 25ft drop on the other side.
She had surgery on her broken feet as doctors inserted metal plates and screws to rebuild them.
And as part of her recovery process – which could take up to two years – Katie has been confined to a wheelchair and a mobility scooter to get around.
And the mum-of-five was spotted out with her two youngest kids Jett, seven, and Bunny, five, who each took turns on the scooter.
Katie shares Jett and Bunny with ex-husband Kieran Hayler, and is also a proud mum to Harvey, 18, as well as Princess and Junior whom she shares with ex-husband Peter Andre.
With the trio was Katie’s guard dog Blade, who Katie bought last year after a horrific carjacking ordeal in South Africa.
Katie opted for a casual outfit, wearing a white T-shirt and black leggings. She topped her simple look off with an Umbro cap.
Her outing comes just weeks after she found herself in hot water after she described being in a wheelchair as “humiliating”.
Katie questioned why her boyfriend, former Love Island star Carl Woods, was staying with her after her injuries, which sparked backlash Katie did not expect.
She told The Sun : “Everything has hit me so hard, not only am I in a wheelchair but I have to learn to walk again and I’m disabled. It’s humiliating.
“I feel so embarrassed being pushed around. People treat me differently and I don’t know why my boyfriend stays with me.”
After having her back against the wall, Katie cleared up her comments.
She told New! Magazine: “I’ve had a lot of abuse from people in wheelchairs because I said I felt like Carl wouldn’t fancy me in a wheelchair.
“I’m not saying people who are in wheelchairs shouldn’t be fancied. I’m saying, I’m in a new relationship and he met me how I was before so why should he fancy me like this? I’m allowed to feel insecure!”
