Katie Price has insisted that she didn’t break social-distancing rules after being accused by her angry fans.

The former glamour model was accused of flouting the rules put in place to prevent the spread of coronavirus after saying she feared her son Harvey could die if he catches the disease.

The mum-of-five today shared a picture of herself, her boyfriend Carl Woods, and her daughter Princess, 13, posing up with a man thought to be a representative of company Big Clothing 4 U.

The man sat next to Katie on the sofa, while Princess was on the other side of her and Carl knelt behind the sofa.

They all gave the camera a thumbs up, and Katie captioned the snap: “Great meeting with@bigclothing4u_ watch the space”

The company also shared the picture on its own account, with the caption: “#TeamUptheir Incredible meeting with @KatiePrice and co. today – we’ve got BIG things coming @uptheirclothing #HarveysLaw”

Some of her fans were concerned that she had broken the rules.

One commented: “Social distance and wear a mask and meet outdoors”

Another simply wrote: “Social distancing?”

One told her: “No social distancing but In the paper going “I fear for Harvey EVERYDAY with Covid”!!”

However, her representative made it clear that Katie did nothing wrong.

She told The Mirror: “The gentleman in question featured in Katie’s post is someone that Katie has known for a long time and is part of hers and Harvey’s support bubble.

“Katie has spoken of her concerns for Harvey’s safety and would never put her son at risk – Adhering to Covid regulations.”

Katie is renting a home in Surrey, which is in tier 2.

Under the rules, people are told not to socialise with anyone they don’t live with or who is not in their support bubble in any indoor setting, whether that’s at home or in a public place.

People are also still encouraged to stay two metres apart from people that they don’t live with there possible.

People should wear face coverings in indoor settings when coming into contact with people they don’t normally meet.

Katie, 42, recently said she fears for Harvey’s safety as she believes coronavirus would “finish him off”.

Her son, 18, has a number of health conditions, including Prader-Willi syndrome, partial blindness and autism.

He had a couple of health scares earlier this year, spending time in hospital after being struck with breathing problems.

He spent days in intensive care after being taken to hospital in an ambulance.

Katie has said she fears for Harvey as well as her mum, Amy, who was diagnosed with a terminal lung condition in 2017.

She told The Sun : “My mum and Harvey are very high risk. You can hear him breathing.

“Because he is a big boy you can just hear him breathing. Even if he gets a cold that is bad.”

She added: “If he gets Covid it would probably finish him off. That is not a joke.”
