Kate Ferdinand ‘heartbroken and devastated’ as she suffers miscarriage at 12 weeks
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Kate Ferdinand is ‘absolutely devastated and heartbroken’ after having a miscarriage as she explained medical professionals couldn’t find her baby’s heartbeat at her 12-week scan

Kate Ferdinand has announced that she has suffered a “devastating” miscarriage and had to have surgery following her 12-week scan.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday evening, the former TOWIE star posted a black and white photo of her legs resting on a hospital bed.
Kate captioned the post: “The last time I was in this hospital I was having Cree, but this time it was because our baby had no heartbeat in our 12 week scan and I had to have surgery.
“We were so excited & planning a space for our new baby in our family, we just couldn’t wait to share our news with you all, but unfortunately sometimes life just doesn’t go as we plan.”

She continued: “So much to say, but somehow I can’t find the words. Absolutely devastated & heartbroken …but couldn’t be more grateful for the hugs I got from my big(er) babies coming through the door when we arrived home.”
Kate was immediately inundated with messages of condolences from her fans and followers.
Her former TOWIE co-star Sam Faiers wrote: “This is heartbreaking, sending you lots of love and strength x x.”
Kate announced the sad news on Instagram alongside a black and white photo of herself in hospital
Danielle Lloyd commented: “So sorry for your loss @xkateferdinand,” and Georgia Kousoulou added: “So sorry Kate.”
Lauren Pope wrote: “So sorry to you all, sending lots of love,” and Kate Lawler told her: “Oh Kate. I’m so deeply sorry for you and your lovely family. Sending you so much love and hugs x.”
Kate already shares one-year-old son Cree with her husband Rio Ferdinand, and is also stepmother to his three children Lorenz, Tia and Tate.
