Actress Jessica Simpson has shed over seven stone since giving birth to her daughter Birdie Mae – and she looked fantastic as she showed off her body on social media

Jessica Simpson has lost over seven stone since giving birth to her daughter Birdie Mae.

The actress and singer, 40, continued to flaunt her incredible new frame on her Instagram this week, which sent her fans into a frenzy.

She shared a photo of herself in skinny denim jeans to showcase her slender legs while testing out her son Ace’s bike.

Jessica perched on the bike as she posed to show off her endless legs in the denim, which she paired with five-inch heels.

She teamed the look with a black jumper and a floppy red hat to give her outfit an autumnal feel.

The Love Guru star also covered up with shades and large hoop earrings for an extra touch of glamour.

Jessica captioned the photo: “Trying my hardest to feel peaceful riding my 7yr old sons bike. You can’t see them, but you know I’ve got 5-inch platforms on to reach the pavement for grounding.”

However fans were distracted by how good she looks, and quickly rushed to comment on her photo.

Some were eager to know her secret to the sudden weight loss, with one asking: “How did you lose your weight so fast you look amazing.”

Another gushed: “Love those jeans! Nice butt.”

“How did you lose all the weight????? You look great,” a third begged to know.

While a fourth quipped: “You look amazing.”

Jessica has shed the weight since giving birth to her third child.

In the past, the star admitted to piling on the pounds after having her children.

Last year she decided to change her lifestyle and get fit through healthy eating and regular exercise.

She turned to the help of personal trainer Harley Pasternak, who has helped her to achieve her new shape.

Opening up on her mindful attitude to fitness during an appearance on US series HSN last September, she said: “It’s been a lot of hard work. I have to say that I have worked very hard.”

The star added: “I don’t like the word ‘diet.’ I just ate a bag of Cheetos in the back.

“I do think that writing down what we eat is important to keep ourselves in check.”
