Jennifer Aniston and Matt LeBlanc reportedly took their romantic Friends storyline off screen, as it’s claimed they used to go off for secret snogs in the dressing room.
According to Matt’s dad Paul, Jen, 51, often shared cheeky make-out sessions with Matt – who turns 53 today.
Jen found fame playing Rachel Green in the hit US sitcom alongside Matt, who played the role of Joey Tribbiani.
And while Jen and Matt’s reps have denied such claims, Matt’s dad Paul insists that Matt bragged about the snogs to him.
Speaking to OK! USA, Paul claimed: “[Matt] got on good with Jen. They would make out in the dressing rooms. He told me about it – it was when she was married to Brad Pitt.”
He continued: “He was as good looking as anyone in Hollywood. But he isn’t going to age well. It’s the high life – I’ll see him with his gut hanging over his belt.
“He’s not someone who keeps himself toned when he’s not in front of the cameras.”
Jen and Matt’s characters embarked on a surprising romance on screen at the end of season nine in May 2003 and the beginning of season 10.
Jen’s character Rachel began to develop feelings for Joey – often having dreams about him.
After Joey saw girlfriend Charlie – played by Aisha Wheeler – kiss Ross – played by David Schwimmer – he decided to go ahead with a relationship with Rachel, after she had confessed her feelings to him.
In season 10, which concluded in May 2004, the pair attempt to consummate their love, but failed and decided to remain friends at the end of it.
Off screen, Jen was married to Hollywood star Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005.
While Matt tied the knot with Melissa McKnight in 2003 after five years together, but they split in 2006.
Mirror Online has contacted Matt’s reps for further comment while Jen’s rep has denied the claim.
And it seems as though Jen and Matt are set to step foot on set once more, after the entire Friends cast announced that a reunion was in the works.
Despite being delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic, the special is still set to happen.
The special episode would have seen core cast members David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt Le Blanc, and Matthew Perry reunite together on screen for the first time since the show ended.
Rumours of a reunion have been rife since the last episode aired in May 2004.
The show’s executive producers Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman and David Crane will all return.
