Katie Price and boyfriend Carl Woods have been enjoying spending their last few weeks of freedom in the Maldives before they hunker down for the UK’s second national lockdown.
Before the pair set off for the idyllic islands, Katie shared that she had ditched her contraception as she and Carl try for baby number six on the trip.
But it’s not been all fun and games, as Katie also had to make time to Skype into her latest bankruptcy hearing.
The hearing was was called over concerns about the former glamour model’s spending and earnings.
The Sun reported that Katie told the hearing that “90%” of her trips are for business with her current getaway a “work assignment.”
And thanks to Katie and Carl’s candid Instagram posts, fans have been able to get a glimpse at what they’ve been up to.
The pair have been staying on the idyllic Huruelhi Island which offers sweeping views of the Indian Ocean.
Guests can go snorkelling, sip bubbly in their private hot tub or release their stress with a professional massage in the comfort of the resort.
At the island’s Radisson Blue complex, Katie and Carl have been able to dine on high cuisine at a number of restaurants.
And Katie, who’s wheelchair-bound after a nasty accident in Turkey earlier this year, was even able to paddle independently in the ocean as she strapped on a snorkle and flippers.
A representative for the star said the ‘hydro therapy’ had been extremely beneficial to her recovery.
Another snap shared by loved-up Katie showed a look at the panoramic views of the ocean, as well as the hot tub.
And the spa room, where Katie and Carl treated themselves to a massage, boasted clear glass panels so guests can enjoy the crystal clear water below.
Katie, who was once said to be worth £40 million, was officially declared bankrupt in November last year.
In a statement read outside court last week, the mum-of-five issued an apology for not dealing with her bankruptcy issues.
“It is a long and tense process but I feel progress is now being made,” said Katie.
“I can only apologise, I just haven’t been able to deal with these issues or in the right mental state to understand everything that has been going on.”
Katie added: “I appreciate I have not been easy to communicate with and hard to track down, but I have not hidden.”
She went on to emphasise that she would “work hard to make this right” and has been having therapy to deal with her mental state.
