Adam Peaty and Eiri Munro enjoy sunny holiday on Santorini
Adam Peaty enjoyed a loved-up holiday with ex-girlfriend Eiri Munroe just a few days before they announced their shock split.
The Olympic swimmer revealed the couple had decided to go their separate ways in a social media post on Tuesday.
Although the 27-year-old gold medallist didn’t say what had caused the break-up, he publicly apologised to Eiri for “letting you down”.
There has been speculation the couple fell victim to the ‘Strictly curse’ after his ‘near kiss’ with dancer Katya Jones when he appeared on the show.
Now it has emerged the couple may have gone on a ‘make or break’ holiday before announcing their separation.

Adam and Eiri, who were together for three years, share one-year-old son George together.
Eiri shared photos of their family holiday together to the Greek island of Santorini on her Instagram over the past few days.
During the getaway, the couple appeared to be very much still together and Eiri posed for snaps on Adam’s knee.
In another couple photo Eiri wore a black bikini as her and Adam – wearing shorts and an open shirt revealing his six-pack – took a mirror selfie at their hotel.

Family snaps showed Adam helping his little boy learn to swim in the hotel pool and plenty of cuddles with mum.
As well as taking in the sights of the pretty whitewashed island, the trio also enjoyed a family boat ride in the sun.
Captioning the post, Eiri wrote: “One of the most special days (well… after the seasickness tablets kicked in lol).”
In the last set of photos, the 24-year-old artist posed for a string of solo holiday snaps – perhaps taken by Adam.
“One more for the memories,” she wrote in the caption for her 32,000 Instagram followers to see.

Giving her own verdict on the split, Eiri said she was now taking a break from social media and asked people to respect her privacy at this time.
The mum-of-one penned: “The last three years have been so, so, amazing. Our little family have experienced so much laughter, love, and joy. You guys have been such a significant part of that.
“This next chapter of my life is surely going to be a difficult one. I would appreciate that people would refrain from commenting, speculating, or messaging. I have shared so much of my life, but for now, I am choosing privacy and I hope that you will all respect that.”
Adam’s now ex-girlfriend continued: “I appreciate you all so much and I’m so thankful for all the fun and opportunities you have given me. I am going to be taking a break from social media, so goodbye for now. Thank you so much for everything.”
