Vernon Kay’s two daughters are preparing to give him a warm welcome home after the end of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on Friday.
The TV presenter, 46, made it to the grand finale and came in third place behind winner Giovanna Fletcher and runner-up Jordan North.
His wife Tess Daly, 51, took to her Instagram account on Saturday night to share a picture of the sweet gesture his girls Phoebe, 16, and 12-year-old Amber had done for him.
They had baked cookies in the shape of stars that spelled out the name of the ITV show.
The biscuits had been laid out in order on the family’s kitchen counter.
Phoebe and Amber had decorated the surface with jelly snake sweets in honour of the gruesome trials their dad had to do on the ITV show.
Tess proudly shared it to her Instagram stories before she hosted the Strictly Come Dancing live show on Saturday.
“The girls made cookies for their dad’s return,” she captioned the post.
Tess added stars and swooning emojis to the caption.
She also said “love the jelly” and then added a snake emoji.
It comes after Tess vowed to fatten Vernon up after he lost two stone on the show.
He spent three weeks living off meagre rations of rice and beans with the occasional treat if the stars did well in the trials.
