Helena Bonham Carter has discovered the secret to a stress-free lockdown life.

The 54-year-old actress has advised “all women” to invest in a vibrator in the event that any further lockdowns may happen in 2021.

The Crown star, who has teamed up with popular dating app Bumble, suggested sex toys as a solution to solitude.

As the pandemic continues to rage on, Helena’s aim is to encourage women to depend on themselves for sexual pleasure – allowing them to socially distance.

The much-loved actress stars in the risqué campaign advert which sees her sprawled across a vintage yellow armchair as she dishes out some modern-day dating advice to singletons struggling to find love amid the pandemic.

“Get a vibrator. And a weighted blanket for hugs,” Helena said.

Recognising how difficult it’s been for single women to adjust to the new way of dating, Helena added: “Also, do nothing.

“When the world is going crazy, when you are in shock from something, these are times to do nothing, be still.”

The talented star also lifted the lid on her first-hand experience with dating in 2020 when she revealed that a number of her close single friends have found the process extremely difficult.

“I have single friends and I think this year has been incredibly difficult.

“Bumble have done their research and found that a lot of people who are single have felt that they’ve lost a year and they’ll never catch up. Which is of course neurotic nonsense and totally understandable.”

Helena doesn’t have to worry about dating however as she’s already found love with writer Rye Dag Holmboe.

The pair have been smitten for over two years after falling head over heels for one another in 2018.
