Candice Brown looked pensive and glum as she was spotted taking a stroll with her dogs following her marriage breakdown.
Earlier this week, the British Bake Off winner confirmed that she has separated from her husband Liam Macauley after less than two years of marriage.
The 35-year-old TV star looked glum today as she was seen for the first time since breaking the sad news.
She took the opportunity to soak up the sunshine as she walked her precious pet pug near her pub in Milton Keynes.
The reality TV star was pictured wearing no rings on her wedding finger following her recent split from Liam.
Instead, she wore a beautiful sparkler on her middle finger.
Candice sported a more casual ensemble than usual as she showcased her perfect pins in a pair of black denim shorts.
She completed the trendy outfit with an oversized graphic t-shirt and a pair of chic sunglasses.
Her latest appearance comes just days after the celebrity baker shared a message of feeling ‘hopeless’ on social media.
The 35-year-old ‘liked’ a post by artist and author Charles Mackesy, which read: “Sometimes your mind plays tricks on you.
“It can tell you you’re no good, that it’s hopeless.”
The inspirational quote continues: “But remember this; you are loved, and important and you bring to this world things no one else can. So hold on.”
Candice’s agent revealed to The Mirror: “I can confirm Candice and Liam separated earlier this year.”
Candice had been married to tree surgeon Liam since 2018 and the pair renewed their wedding vows last year in Thailand.
The pair first met in 2012 when Candice was working in a bar and Liam studying at university.
Five years later romantic Liam popped the question in the supermarket car park where they stopped by on their very first date.
Candice and Liam then tied the knot at a chateau in France in September 2018.
Liam has now moved out of the flat above The Green Man pub in Eversholt, Milton Keynes where the pair lived together, reportedly to Bedfordshire.
He recently opened up about the reason behind their seemingly sudden split.
Breaking his silence on the sad news, Liam confirmed to the Mail Online: “There was nobody else involved. We have just sadly decided it wasn’t working.”
The tree surgeon explained that he had struggled to adjust to his partner’s new celebrity lifestyle after she rose to fame as a contestant on the Great British Bake Off in 2016.
Following a series of long discussions, Liam said he and and Candice felt ending their two year marriage was the right decision for them.
Despite their marriage breakdown, Liam has described Candice as a ‘lovely woman’ and ‘wonderful human being.’
