Glastonbury Festival viewers have shared their amazement over the fact that members of iconic R&B group TLC have “not aged at all” since the height of their fame more than two decades ago.
The Grammy Award winners – whose hits include Waterfalls and Unpretty – played on West Holts stage at the annual festival on Worthy Farm in Somerset on Friday evening.
Although best known as a trio, the group now consists of Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins, 52, and Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas, 51 – as third member Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes tragically died in 2002.
The duo took to the stage at Glastonbury in the afternoon – where they performed the chart-topping song No Scrubs, which was originally released by the popular trio in 1999.

Watkins and Thomas graced the stage wearing co-ordinated metallic silver outfits, reminiscent of the style worn by the group in the music video for the award-winning song.
Audiences were loving the throwback show by the group, with one attendee at the festival tweeting earlier: “TLC really got the crowd going on the West Holts stage today.”
And BBC viewers equally enjoyed the ‘nostalgia’ of it, with one person saying: “[It’s been] easily the best thing on so far.” Another said it was the “real saviour of this night.”

TLC are best known for their second album CrazySexyCool and its follow-up FanMail, which were released in 1994 and 1999 respectively. Both featured chart-topping songs.
The former included both Creep and Waterfalls, whilst the latter’s tracklist boasted No Scrubs as well as Unpretty. These four songs each topped the charts in their native US.

The group had been working on their fourth album, 3D, when member Lopes tragically died in a car crash in 2002.
Watkins and Thomas decided not to replace Lopes in the group, with them instead continuing as a duo. Following a hiatus, their latest album, titled TLC, was released in 2017.
