Gemma Collins will be bearing all in the hot seat of Piers Morgan’s Life Stories interview series as she peels back the curtain to reveal the highs and lows of her life so far.
The 39-year-old star has already been grilled by 55-year-old Piers for an upcoming episode of his hit talk show – with the episode recorded in an ITV studio on Friday.
Gemma – who is said to have earned a personal fortune of £2.7 million since finding fame on The Only Way Is Essex in 2011 – is expected to reveal all about her split from James Argent.
The pair split in July amid allegations that 32-year-old Arg had demanded they open up their romance – and claims he had sent abusive messages to Gemma when she refused his suggestion.
The Sun on Sunday reports that the episode is “explosive” and contains “shocking details” about the high profile break-up.
The publication states cameras were rolling for over six hours while Piers and Gemma discussed all aspects of her life.
She is said to have opened up about Arg’s drug addictions – which threatened to kill him twice last year, with Gemma picking up the pieces and helping him recover.
She is expected to discuss other previous relationships – which have ended in disaster.
A TV insider told the outlet: “It was an emotional rollercoaster and Gemma opened up to him about deeply personal subjects, including how toxic her relationship with Arg had become and some exes who were abusive to her.
“It was a cathartic experience, though, and she’s proud of how far she’s come.”
Fans of Gemma will already know many details of her life – following her role on TOWIE, her Diva Forever spin-off show, and appearances on CelebrityBig Brother and Celebs Go Dating, among others.
While she opened up about her childhood, youth, and 20s in her 2013 autobiography Basically: My Life as a Real Essex Girl.
In the book, Gemma opens up about her heartbreaking experiences of losing two children – once due to an abortion and once due to a miscarriage.
She said in her self-penned book that her miscarriage “felt like God’s way of punishing me” for her earlier abortion.
