Gemma Collins doesn’t do things by halves – case in point, her opulent barn conversion in the middle of the Essex countryside.

The GC quit Brentford for a more rural life last year, snapping up a sizeable pile in a tiny village where no-one even knows who she is.

“I’ve moved to the country. I love London, and obviously one day I’d like to move to LA, but for now it’s the country and I love it,” she told the Daily Mail.

Revealing she planned to use her newfound anonymity to take up horse riding lessons, she continued: “I can just go to the market, the farm shop… I am so happy here.

Gemma has escaped to the country

“I can finally say ‘there’s no place like home’. I am just settled here. It’s just been absolutely cosmic ordering.”

But while the TOWIE star might not be known to the locals, surely one look at her pink palace would give the game away?

She’s already dubbed the barn ‘Gemmawood’ and given it a bling makeover fit for a diva.

The barn is jam-packed with original features

The ceilings and walls feature gorgeous wood beams contrasted with white paint while the floors are covered with plush grey carpets.

And the 39-year-old has given her furniture an opulent upgrade, treating herself to crushed velvet sofas and dining chairs, mirrored furniture and a princess bed with a dramatic velvet headboard.

Her sprawling gardens play home to deer while her dressing room is fit to burst with row upon row of designer clothes, shoes and handbags.

She even had to haul in the professionals to help get the situation under control.

In a recent plea for assistance, the former car salesperson said: “I need to show everyone how bad my house has got, so out of control. If anyone is out there, help.

“Literally this is the severest situation I have ever been in in my life. I cannot move through bags, shoes, suitcases. I cannot even get in this room.

A pink gorilla keeps guard upstairs

“I cannot get through my whole home.”

Topping off the very GC look, a giant pink gorilla statue stands guard upstairs, where she likes to chill watching YouTube videos of elephants and Planet of the Apes.

Business-savvy Gemma is thought to have amassed a wealth of £2.7million thanks to her clothing line, boutique in Brentwood, and reality shows like TOWIE and Diva Forever.
