Emma Willis shrieks with delight as she cheers on I’m A Celebrity pal Giovanna

Emma Willis and her husband Matt couldn’t contain their excitement as their pal Giovanna Fletcher battled it out for a place in the I’m A Celeb final.

Giovanna, 35, who is married to Matt’s McBusted co-star Tom Fletcher, was seen taking on the Celebrity Cyclone Challenge on Thursday night alongside, Shane Richie, Vernon Kay and Jordan North.

After the challenge Ant & Dec announced Giovanna would be one of three finalists as Shane Richie left the show.

Emma shrieked with delight and threw her hands up in the air as Giovanna was announced as a finalist, while Matt clapped his hands.

“Yay,” Emma screamed.

The pair also told they liked watching Shane, with Matt saying he had been the “entertainment of that camp”.

Matt also hinted he would have been okay with Jordan being voted out.

“I’m sorry I cheered Shane, but Gi’s my girl,” Emma said.

She then turned to Matt and shouted “Gi’s in the final”.

Emma also gargled Gi’s name in her throat as the pair celebrated.

In response Matt joked that “it was pretty”.

Earlier this month, Emma predicted the 35-year-old author would be crowned Queen of the Castle.

Emma tipped Giovanna to win I’m A Celeb last month and revealed she would be voting for her.

The presenter said: “She is pretty clued up, and she is a huge fan of the show. Doug [Poynter] has been in it and won it, Matt has been in it and won it,” she added

Emma also revealed she advised Giovanna to bring long, tight cycling shorts to prevent bugs from getting into her underwear.

But sadly, producers reportedly said no as campmates’ one luxury item cannot be clothing.

“I said, ‘You have to take cycling shorts, like long, tight, cycling shorts.’

“And she was like, ‘What, why would you do that?!’

“And I said, ‘Because then bugs aren’t going to crawl up the places you don’t want crawling up!’

“And she went, ‘Oh my God I hadn’t thought about that!’
