She also showed gratitude towards the viewers at home and all the fans who voted for her show before going on to give credit to all those working tirelessly behind the cameras.

‘From deep, deep down in my heart, I thank you. I am not just accepting this award for myself but also on behalf of my amazing crew and staff who make this show possible. They show up every day, give 100 percent of themselves 100 percent of the time. That is 250 people times 170 shows a year, times 18 years, and if you carry the two and divide it by 11 — my point is, I love all of them. I thank them all for what they do every day to help that show be the best,’ Ellen said during her acceptance speech.
