Ed Sheeran could have shaved £1million off the price of mansion, according to a property expert.
Shape of You’s hitmaker, 29, lives in the sprawling Suffolk property with his wife Cherry Seaborn and their baby girl Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran.
Initially the redhead purchased the Grade-II listed farmhouse for £895,000 before he later expanded his property portfolio in the surrounding area.
The new dad has splashed out £3million on renovations at his home in Framlingham.
He’s made it his own with a pub, a tree house, a prayer room and a wildlife pond.
Estate agent Paul Gibbens, of website Housebyers4u, claimed the pop star could have made a “negative impact on the sale price” of his house with the rennovations.
He told The Sun : “As the estate is so unique to Ed’s taste, it could actually have a negative impact on the sale price.
“And the cost of reverting the features could be hefty.
“The maintenance of such a large property can also impact the buyer market and all these changes may well have limited its value.”
Around his farmhouse, Ed also owns a four-bedroom detached home opposite his mansion as well as the bungalow on the other side of his driveway and another neighbouring home for £875,000.
His total property portfolio of 27 homes has an estimated worth of £57million.
Mirror Online reached out to Ed Sheeran’s representatives for further comment.
Most recently, Ed has been settling into becoming a dad for the first time.
It’s been two months since he announced the birth of his daughter to the world in September.
He wrote to his fans: “We are completely in love with her.
“Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here.
