EastEnders’ Danny Dyer to take drastic action after losing his hair at 43

Danny Dyer has revealed his plans to take ‘drastic action’ after losing his hair.

The EastEnders star, 43, has said that he’s willing to wear a wig if his locks keep thinning.

During a candid chat with his pregnant daughter Dani, the soap star revealed that he thinks the idea of sporting a wig could be the easy answer to his problems.

Opening up about his looks on the Sorted With the Dyers podcast, Danny said: “I’ve seen some strong wigs.

“Basically, I’m thinking of getting a wig.”

The Mick Carter actor joked that he’s been eyeing up a rather extravagant wig; one which resembles Elvis’ iconic quiffed hairstyle.

However, the soap star said he’s apprehensive about making the purchase because he’s afraid that his friends will mock him for it.

Danny continued: “I want a nice Elvis wig with a big quiff on it. But I can’t, because everyone will laugh.

“As soon as you’ve turned your back on them with your wig, half a second later, they’ll all be sniggering.”

“Coming from a man who’s losing his hair, if I was to wear a wig everyone in that room has to collude and pretend that that’s my hair.”

Danny’s revelation comes after the actor recently returned to the famed EastEnders set after a severe outbreak of the coronavirus broke out.

Their return to the Albert Square set comes after the soap’s assistant director, Joe Nugent, reportedly took a coronavirus test after feeling unwell but continued to work alongside the cast for another two days.

His Covid-19 test result then came back as positive.

Nugent is believed to have kept quiet about his coronavirus symptoms at the time, and stars of the show were “livid” when they discovered the news.

A series of safety measures have since been instilled on set in order to keep the cast and crew safe during this unprecedented time.
