Drake has given an insight into his son’s third birthday with an adorable snap of Adonis on his big day.

The 33-year-old rapper hailed the toddler as a “Young stunna” in a pic he shared on Instagram on Sunday, as they posed with beaming smiles among silver and black balloons.

Drake also shared a more candid photo of his son on his Instagram Story, in which Adonis is seen hugging his grandmother Sandi.

There were also celebratory photos on the social media site from Sophie Brussaux, Adonis’ mother, who shared a collection of pics from when her son was a newborn in hospital.

She captioned the pics: “Joyeux anniversaire mon amoureux! 3 years ago, I was finally meeting you for the first time, after a long 24-hr labour.

“I’m so proud of the little man you’re becoming, I love you more than life. The world is YOURS! We did that @champagnepapi”.

There were more celebratory pics from the family as Drake’s father, Dennis Graham, shared a birthday tribute to Adonis.

He wrote on Instagram: “Happy Birthday to my little pride and joy I love you little guy, you make me very proud to see that you’re the one to carry on the Graham tradition.”

It was long-rumoured that Drake had fathered a child with Brussaux, a former adult movie star and artist, and he confirmed he was a parent in the lyrics of various tracks on his double album, Scorpion, which was released in June 2018.

On the track March 14, Drake sang: “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world/ I was hiding the world from my kid.”

He followed this by posting photos of his son for the first time, after previously sharing pics of Father’s Day gifts and snaps of Adonis’ artwork.

Speaking on Young Money Radio with Lil Wayne on Apple Music, Drake said about finally revealing his son to the world: “I just woke up one morning and I was like, ‘You know what? This is just something that I want to do.’ ”

The rapper added: “I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son.

“I don’t want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be a ‘celebrity’ that I got to make everybody live under this blanket … I just wanted to free myself of that.”
