Dog The Bounty Hunter’s daughter Cecily is planning on walking down the aisle in her late mum Beth Chapman ‘s wedding dress in a touching tribute.

Beth – who tied the knot with Dog The Bounty Hunter in 2006 – tragically passed away in June last year after a long battle with stage four throat cancer.

Cecily – whose adoptive dad is TV star Duane Chapman – is set to tie the knot with her fiancé next year, and plans to honour her mum by wearing her beautiful gown.

And sure enough it’s set to be a wedding with a twist, as Cecily plans to say “I Do” to her man Matty in either a Halloween or Christmas ceremony, reports The Sun.

She told the publication: “I always wanted to wear my mum’s dress for my wedding.

“The day she got married to my dad I thought she looked so beautiful – it was the most beautiful dress I could ever imagine.

“It’s very traditional to wear your mother’s dress. But most of all it’s a way for me to feel like she is with me the whole time and be a part of the wedding.”

Cecily revealed that she had the chance to tell mum she wanted to wear her wedding dress when she was still alive, making this an even more of a special gesture.

“It’s a big deal for me. I spoke to her while she was alive and told her I wanted the dress – I think I said that to her a couple of years after the wedding,” she added.

Beth died aged 51 as the pair were filming the new series of their show Dog’s Most Wanted – which saw them track down criminals that had evaded the law.

The hit series showed the couple’s life behind the scenes, as they dealt with the news that Beth’s cancer had returned.

The series followed her treatment and showed just how supportive Dog was during that heartbreaking period of time.

Beth and Dog first met in the 1990s and dated for several years before shooting to fame in 2004 with their television show Dog The Bounty Hunter, and spin off Dog and Beth: On the Hunt.

The couple tied the knot in 2006 and share two children together. Dog adopted Cecily from Beth’s previous marriage.
