Demi Moore and Jessica Biel are among some of the celebrities that have been reminiscing about the Emmys ahead of this year’s virtual event.

The usually glamorous Hollywood award show is going all-virtual for the first time in history tonight.

Actress Demi Moore marked the momentous occasion by sharing an epic throwback picture of herself arriving with Bruce Willis in 1987.

In the snap, the former couple were dressed to the nines as they walked into the lavish event.

That year, Bruce went on to win the award for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series for his role in Moonlighting.

“1987 #Emmys… arriving in style,” Demi penned alongside her snap.

The couple’s daughter Scout also chipped in, commenting: “Omg dad’s coat is sending me.”

Actress Jessica Biel also shared one of her favourite Emmy moments as she reminisced on a cute snap alongside husband Justin Timberlake in 2018.

In the snap, Jessica donned a gorgeous gown as she rested her head on Justin.

“Once upon a time, a long LONG time ago… Mom and Dad put on some real clothes and stayed out past midnight. #Emmys,” she wrote.

Cindy Crawford also joined in the trend as she wished followers a ‘happy Emmy day’ with yet another amazing throwback.

In the snap, the model fashioned a beret and a edgy black gown while she walked the red carpet with Jason Priestly.

This year, celebrities will be at their homes and will call into the event from a video call.

Jimmy Kimmel will host the show from the Staples Center in Los Angeles but there will not be a live audience because of the coronavirus pandemic.

There’s also lots of UK nominees in this year’s lineup such as Brian Cox and Olivia Colman.

A leaked letter to nominees from the Emmy bosses joked that UK stars can even accept their award from their beds because of the time difference.

“If you want to be in formal wear, we’d love that, but equally if you’re in the UK and it’s 3am, perhaps you want to be in designer pajamas and record from your bed!” the letter said, according to Variety.
