Danielle Lloyd has jumped to Katie Price’s defence following the tragic death of her daughter Princess’ puppy.
The former glamour model, 42, is said to be devastated after the precious pooch passed away earlier today.
Katie had purchased the adorable puppy, called Rolo, as a gift for Princess on her 13th birthday just three weeks ago.
Now, her pal Danielle has defended the puppy breeders who sold Rolo to Katie after he passed away in a ‘tragic accident’.
Danielle rushed to stand up for her pal and her family after an unimpressed Instagram follower questioned the cause of death.
The keyboard warrior stated: “It’s just a shame that you all do not realise that all their dogs have died from ‘tragic accidents’.
“All that could have been avoided if more care was taken. It’s strange how the real cause of death is not being told” the follower insisted.
Danielle quickly clapped back insisting that the puppy’s tragic death was not Katie’s fault and that the puppy breeders were also not to blame.
The TV star backed up her statement by revealing that she owns Rolo’s sister, Fendi, who is perfectly healthy and well looked after.
The brunette bombshell clapped back: “It’s not their fault. They did everything they could like they said.
“I’ve had the sister to Rolo and they made sure the pup was going to be looked after”.
Following her eldest son’s release from intensive care on Monday, the reality TV star has been presented with even more challenges after Rolo was found dead by Harvey’s carer after a tragic accident occured.
“They had to phone Katie to break the news,” an insider told The Sun.
The source added that the entire family is completely broken after growing incredibly close to the gorgeous puppy.
The insider revealed: “Katie is devastated and heartbroken and had to call Princess and break the news. Everyone’s in floods of tears.
“It was a tragic accident nobody could have foreseen – it’s no-one’s fault but Katie can’t stop crying.”
Last month, Katie was filmed splashing the cash in a pet store as she packed her trolley with blankets, bottles and perfumes for the dog.
Princess said she was determined to give her pet ‘the best life.’
This evening, the devastated teen took to social media to share tribute to her short-lived bond with Rolo.
Alongside a series of sweet snaps of her precious puppy, the heartbroken teen penned: “Rip baby boy I love you so much u meant everything to me miss you already.”
