Dani Dyer’s fans thought she had already given birth to her baby as she cradled a newborn in her latest Instagram snap.

The reality star, 24, was pictured holding her friend’s son, Sonny Jamie Lee, when her followers jumped to the conclusion she had secretly given birth – despite making it clear it was not her child.

In the snaps, Dani is beaming with happiness as she gazes down at her pal Charlotte Cornwell’s bundle of joy.

Dani is around 24 weeks pregnant, so she is nowhere near ready to give birth yet.

But some fans were confused and started congratulating her on her new arrival, thinking that her little son had come early.

One wrote: “Congratulations on your new arrival Dani Xxxxxx.”

Another shared: “Congratulations,” with a confetti emoji, as a user replied: “It’s not hers [laughing emoji].”

Other fans realised it wasn’t Dani’s child and laughed at their mistake.

“I thought you had had your baby then I thought omg where’s that time gone haha x,” one penned.

Dani’s nana also commented on the snap, writing: “Handsome little feller. Suits ya babe.”

“Can’t wait nanny xx,” Dani gushed back, making it clear she hadn’t given birth to her puzzled fans.

The starlet is expecting her first child with boyfriend Sammy Kimmence early next year.

The couple have not confirmed a date, but Dani shared a post in September at 19 weeks, which means she is currently around 24 weeks, or five months along in her pregnancy.

She has been really honest about her struggles with pregnancy, recently sharing a candid post on social media.

Sitting in her PJs, she wrote: “This really is me most days in my pyjamas trying to get organised but also feeling the biggest anxiety of what is happening in this world right now.

“But I thought I’d show you that the hair really is only done once maybe twice a week (hardly) happy Wednesday everyone x [sic].”
