Dancing on Ice’s Rebekah Vardy admits she wants her kids to see her happy amid WAG war
Dancing on Ice’s Rebekah Vardy confessed she wants her children to see her “smiling, having fun and working hard” on the skating show
Dancing On Ice’s Rebekah Vardy revealed she wants her five kids to see her smiling on the skating show.
The celebrity world is waiting for Becky, 38, and Coleen, 34, to go head-to-head in one of the most nail-biting courtroom showdowns of all time.
Drama aside, the wife of Leicester City footballer Jamie Vardy shared she signed up to the star-studded skating competition so her kids could see her happy.
Proud Becky posted a heartwarming picture of her young daughter Sofia, whom she shares with Jamie, trying out her skates for size.
In a telling comment to a fan, she wrote: “I hope they [the kids] will be. I want them to see mummy smiling, having fun and working hard.”
Becky also has Finley, three, and Olivia, nine months, with her husband Jamie while she raises Megan, 14, and Taylor, ten, from a previous romance.
Her husband also has Ella from a historic relationship.
Originally the mother-of-five captured her daughter’s excitement about her starring on the winter sports show early next year.
She wrote: “Saturday Night Fun. Sof helping to break the skates in, she is so excited to see Mummy wearing sparkles on the ice.”
Becky has been keeping her 419K fans in the loop on her social media page.
Rebekah’s world was rocked last October when Coleen accused her Instagram account of leaking false stories to the newspapers in an extraordinary rant.
Quickly the feud become known as Wagatha Christie after Coleen sensationally claimed she had worked out the culprit by only sharing the fake news to Rebekah’s Instagram.
Rebekah seeks substantial damages because she claims Coleen’s social media posts resulted in her suffering “severe and extreme hostility and abuse”.
The latest saw the legal team representing Wayne Rooney’s wife file new papers in the Wagatha Christie battle.
Rebekah has denied going to the newspapers about Coleen and she said several people have had access to her private Instagram over the years.
In a new interview with Good Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan, she vowed to clear her name as she signed up to Dancing on Ice.
She said: “Look, we tried to sort things out amicably and it just didn’t work.
“I understand people think it’s ridiculous, but what was I meant to do? I need to clear my name, I want to clear my name and I will do whatever that takes and I hope that it’s going to be resolved soon.”
