Curtis Pritchard says he feels betrayed by his ex Maura Higgins and friend Chris Taylor getting together.
The best friends recently revealed they had fallen in love with each other, taking to Instagram to tell the world that they’re now in a relationship.
While the news was welcomed by fans and famous faces who showered them with praise for finally coupling up, it was an unwelcome announcement for Curtis.
The trio of reality stars were all in the Love Island villa together last year.
Chris coupled up with Maura when he entered the villa on day 39, but they realised at the time that they were better off being best mates.
Maura went on to couple up with Curtis and they finished in fourth place together, before carrying on their romance outside the villa.
After they split, Maura and Chris became closer and closer, before sharing that they’d fallen for each other.
They unveiled their new relationship status earlier this week with a loved up picture that Chris captioned: “Turns out I fell in love with my best mate”.
And Curtis wasn’t happy when he saw it.
He told The Sun : “I feel betrayed by them both — two people I was very close to.
“When I saw the pictures, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel hurt. I was upset. How long has this truly been going on for?”
Curtis, whose brother AJ is currently on I’m A Celebrity, insisted that he was always faithful to Maura despite allegations he had cheated.
He went on to say he feels all the signs of love blossoming between Maura and Chris were there.
He added: “If you look back on everything — and I am looking back on it now — I’m like, ‘Curtis, all the signs were bloomin’ there, why didn’t you realise then?'”
Curtis said he “trusted” Maura and Chris when they said they’d “never ever be together”.
Now that they’ve gone public, Chris and Maura have continued to share loved-up pictures of each other.
Today, Chris shared a snap of himself and Maura with a camel as they posed up in the Dubai desert.
He joked: “BIG DAY!…after a lot of consideration myself & @maurahiggins took home our first pet Everyone…meet Reginald. He s***s 87 times a day and has breath that could KO Dwayne Johnson hiding behind a Walrus, but he’s our little guy.
“I’ll be starting an Instagram page for Reginald in due course, so keep your out for it. He’ll mostly be promoting oral hygiene products, so give him a follow when he pops up.”
“You’re all I ever wanted,” Maura captioned one gorgeous picture of herself staring into Chris’ eyes.
