Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard has silenced the nay-sayers after revealing his new shredded bod.

The 24-year-old even thanked fat-shaming trolls for targeting him during and after his stint in the villa.

Since he took part – and reached the final – in the 2019 series of ITV’s dating hit, he’s put his name down for Weight Watchers and “proudly” become a gold member.

Anyone who follows Curtis on Instagram will be familiar with his new ripped torso, often displayed on a sun-kissed beach setting.

And now he’s given thanks to those who attacked him over his weight, telling: “On a truthful note it isn’t nice to say something nasty about someone.

“It isn’t nice to do and be on the receiving end. But you know what, look at me now.

“I’m so positive and confident in how I look and feel now, I thank them for what they did because they really made you focus and this relationship come together with WW.

“I’m an ambassador and part of the family now so I can only say thank you to them because it changed the way I am.”

Recalling the trolling he received online, Curtis added that he would “never wish that on anyone” and said he was “very lucky to have such a good support network around me.”

Curtis finished fourth during Love Island’s 2019 series, alongside then-girlfriend Maura Higgins.

The two went on to date on the outside world before calling it quits earlier this year, confirming their split back in March.

Curtis was recently linked to dancer Amber Pierson, and the two were snapped sharing a smooch in the street.

He had been accused of cheating with Amber during his relationship with Maura – something he and Amber firmly denied.

Maura has moved on from the split by spending time with the mates she made on the show, especially Molly-Mae Hague.

The pair headed to Crete together for a girls’ getaway, and have been snapped hitting the town.

It was also rumoured that she’d found a romantic spark with Chris Taylor, who finished fifth on the same series.

But both have denied it, Chris adding that they just get on because of their similar sense of humour.
