Curtis Pritchard has split from his girlfriend after their four-week relationship fizzled out.
The former Love Island star, 24, is now back on the dating market after calling it quits with blonde beauty Amber Pierson, Daily Mail reports.
Curtis revealed that their brief union “fizzled out” after just four weeks, and says it would have been “unfair” for him to have stayed in the relationship.
The breakup seemingly made the dancer realise he’s going to enjoy being single for a while, after recently coming out of a long-term relationship with Love Island star Maura Higgins.
Opening up on his decision to call it quits, Curtis told the outlet: “I am not in a relationship at all. I am completely single and concentrating on work at the moment. I did start to see somebody after lockdown but it fizzled out.”
He went on: “I came out of a long-term relationship and I really wanted to focus on work and my career with AJ. I have sorted out all of my weight and everything and I’m feeling really, really good about myself.
“I want to focus on my future so unfortunately the young lady that I did start to see – she was lovely and fantastic, I literally couldn’t say a bad word about that girl but it just wasn’t meant to be.
“We’re still friends but I want to focus on my work. I wouldn’t have been able to give it the time that it needed and it would have been unfair. We were only seeing each other for about four weeks in the end.”
Back in March, Curtis and Maura confirmed that they’d called time in their relationship after first striking up a romance on Love Island’s 2019 series.
Earlier this year, Curtis found himself the subject of accusations that he’d cheated during their relationship with Amber Pierson.
He was alleged to have been unfaithful to Maura – something both Curtis and Amber firmly denied.
He’s also insisted in the past that they’re just good pals, and are thought to have struck up a rapport on Curtis’ brother AJ’s dance tour – on which Amber was part of the show.
Maura herself was forced to bat away speculation that she’d ditched Curtis for another romance.
She completely rejected rumours that she was involved with Dancing On Ice pro partner Alexander Demetriou.
Alexander also rubbished the claims.
The former grid girl has also put to bed rumours that she and Chris Taylor – who starred on Love Island in the same series – have found a romantic spark.
Having shared a number of snaps together on social media, it was confirmed that they’re “just friends”.
