Corrie’s Jack P Shepherd’s ‘next-door neighbours home raided by intruders’

Jack P Shepherd has experienced a rather terrifying ordeal after his next-door neighbours home was raided by a gang of five men.

The Coronation Street actor, 32, luckily escaped the wrath of the intruders as they chose to only target his neighbours house – a few yards down the road from his pad.

The David Platt actor currently lives in Manchester’s Northern Quarter with long-term girlfriend Hanni Treweek, 31.

The shocking incident occurred on Thursday evening at approximately 7.30pm according to The Sun.

Thankfully, Jack’s neighbour escaped the terrifying incident by climbing onto the roof.

According to reports, the unnamed man escaped with minor injuries before emergency services were called to the scene.

Lifting the lid on the attack, another neighbour of the soap star described the incident as ‘terrifying’.

Speaking to the publication, the eye-witness revealed: “It has left everyone on edge. It’s just not something that we are used to seeing around here.

“Every area can have its problems but this area just hasn’t been like that until now and I don’t feel safe here anymore.

“I’ve got my young daughter to think of.”

Police yesterday confirmed the incident to the outlet.

Law enforcement said in a statement: “Police were called at around 7.30pm on Thursday, September 24, to a report of an attempted burglary at a property in Manchester.

“Unknown offenders attempted to gain entry to a property before leaving the scene.

“Emergency services attended and a man attended hospital for treatment to minor injuries.

“No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.”

Corrie star Jack has yet to speak out about the raid which occurred close to home.
