Coronation Street star Colson Smith continued to flaunt his dramatically slimmed-down frame after keeping up with his fitness routine during the lockdown.
The actor, who celebrated his 22d birthday yesterday, marked the occasion with two selfies on social media.
In the snaps, that he shared with his 161,000 Instagram followers, the star donned a pair of dark shorts and a t-shirt as he beamed in front of the camera.
Colson thanked his fans for their birthday messages before expressing his excitement for the upcoming year.
“Well up for being 22 though,” he wrote, as Taylor Swift’s iconic tune 22 played in the back.
The actor, who plays Craig Tinker in the show, also re-posted several birthday messages from pals on his Instagram story.
Colson recently revealed that he had lost almost ten stone when Corrie stopped filming during the coronavirus lockdown.
Speaking to The Sun about returning to the Coronation Street set, he said: “We are in direct continuity, but I’ve almost lost about ten stone since we left work so I’m not sure that [my hair] is going to be the biggest of their issues.
“I might be wearing a wig and a fat suit when we go back.
“Now we go to a purple shampoo, which almost makes it a platinum sort of colour, which basically takes the ginger pigment out.
“So the yellow-ness will go, and I will have a head of blonde hair, which I technically do now.”
Last week, Colson’s character finally reappeared in Corrie after months of absence – and plenty of fans expressed their surprise over his transformation.
Social media was flooded with comments from viewers who praised his lockdown weight loss.
