Coleen Rooney gushed over her boys as she shared a sweet snap of them dressed in uniform before their first day back at school.

The mum-of-four – who is married to football star Wayne Rooney – took to Instagram to share adorable pictures of sons Kai, 10, Klay, seven, and four-year-old Kit as they gear up to head back into the classroom.

Boris Johnson has fully reopened England’s schools this week after everything closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Teachers’ unions have been in uproar over the move but schools have promised to make teaching environments safe with social distancing and mask-wearing.

And Coleen, 34, seemingly supported the government’s decision as she sent her kids back without hesitation.

Sharing the sweet snaps of her boys decked out in their uniform, the proud mum penned: “Good luck to my boys going back to school today. Love you all so much, be yourselves and keep smiling.”

Coleen took a snap of each of the boys in their kitchen, as they smiled at the camera ahead of their first day back.

Some parents have voiced their concerns over the health and safety of kids as they head back to classrooms, but Coleen proved she was behind the move on getting kids back into the learning environment.

Last month, Coleen took to social media to share snaps of her boys try their uniforms on.

The WAG captured her son Kit proudly wearing his school uniform in a series of shots which she made into a collage.

She wrote: “Uniform try on.”

The Rooney family recently returned to their home turf in the UK from their sun-scorched break out in Barbados.

They had enjoyed the seclusion of a five-bedroom villa setting guests back at £25,000 a week to rent.

It was a well deserved break for Coleen amid her preparation to face Rebekah Vardy in court in Rebekah’s libel case against her.

In extraordinary claims, Coleen accused Rebekah’s Instagram account of leaking stories about her private life to the newspapers.

Quickly it become dubbed “Wagatha Christie” after Coleen claimed to have gained this knowledge by blocking every account from seeing the stories apart from Rebekah’s Instagram.
