Vardy loses ‘Wagatha Christie’ libel case against Coleen Rooney
Coleen Rooney wants a “private life” after “so much anxiety and stress” caused by the Wagatha war, according to pal Tanya Bardsley.
The WAG wants to get back to being “a really good mum” after being forced into a public court battle with Rebekah Vardy, says the former Real Housewives of Cheshire star.
Speaking to the Mirror from a party in Spain, Tanya revealed she spoke to Coleen just last week and she was doing “all good”.
“I think it’s over for Coleen, she didn’t want to go to court anyway,” said the mum-of-four, who is married to footballer Phil Bardsley.

She added: “Coleen just wants a nice private life, she’s a really good mum and she just wants to get back to doing that.”
The 41-year-old says the case could have “definitely” been handled differently and didn’t need to be propelled into the media spotlight.
When asked if Coleen wanted to go down another route, Tanya said: “Oh yeah, definitely – but she did try. I spoke to her about a week ago and everything was all good.”
Coleen, the wife of footballer Wayne Rooney, historically won the court case last month after an almost three-year long battle between her and Rebekah Vardy.

The trial was centred around the now famous post, which Coleen shared on her social media to accuse Jamie Vardy’s wife’s Instagram account of leaking stories from her private Instagram account to the tabloids.
Tanya says the ordeal has really affected Coleen and that she’s thrilled the trial is over.
“I think the trial has caused her so much anxiety and unneeded stress for her and her lovely family and it’s over now so she can just move on,” she added.
Tanya’s sit-down with the Mirror comes as we exclusively revealed her recent celebrity perfume release was in fact a charity campaign.
She sparked ridicule after launching a ‘new personal fragrance’ brand with a rather unflattering brand name… ‘dog’, well the French word – Chien.

Rather than jumping on the celebrity fragrance bandwagon, the stunt was actually for a very important cause – Search Dog Heroes.
Tanya said: “I was delighted to show my support for Search Dog Heroes by sending up myself and the serious world of celebrity scents.
“I hope that Chien can raise the profile of these amazing pups and the work they will do for these inspirational charities”.
