Comedian Chris Ramsey and wife Rosie are expecting their second tot.
And Rosie – who has been documented her pregnancy journey on social media – joked that she is ‘lubing up nightly’ in a frank and funny Instagram post shared on Tuesday evening.
The expectant mum, 33, also commented on recently confusing fans into thinking she had already given birth – when she shared a throwback snap of her first son Robin, four, as a baby – and told that she is yet to welcome baby number two nd added that her bump is growing by the day.
The podcast star typed alongside a mirror selfie that showcased her round bump: “So I posted a throwback pic earlier today of me and Robin when he was a baby…Turns out a lot of you thought I’d popped out sprog number two a good 9 weeks early!
“Nope! Baby is very much still in there! Just doing my nightly lubing now.”
She then added: “*Ps. I’m extremely aware that I’m posting a lot about my pregnancy, truth is I have F all else going on right now.”
Underneath the offering, a number of Rosie’s fans pleaded with her to keep up the pregnancy posts as the UK prepares to head into a nationwide lockdown this week in a bid to curb infections of the Coronavirus.
One typed: “You post away!! It’s exciting times and we all need nice things to distract us! Keep them posts coming x.”
A second echoed: “Awww keep it up, we love sharing this journey with you.”
Other joined in: “Loving the pregnancy updates too. Something nice to hear about in this sh*t show of a year! X” and ” I’m loving all your pregnancy posts and mentions of being pregnant in your podcast keep the pictures and chat coming.”
In July, the social media star announced that she and her husband Chris were expecting their second child.
Rosie previously admitted she was nervous ahead of her 12-week scan after she suffered a miscarriage in 2018.
Taking to her Instagram stories, she thanked her followers for their support but addressed her anxieties in the video message.
Rosie began in the video: “It’s absolutely killed us this is why I haven’t been on Stories much.”
She explained: “One, because I’ve been a hormonal mess.
“Two, I haven’t been able to drink wine and I got a few questions and I was just like I can’t be dealing with this.
“And three, I hate lying and it kills us so I haven’t been on Stories much because you know when you have got a secret it’s been weeks.”
Rosie revealed that she had kept her pregnancy secret for eight weeks as she learned she was expecting around four to five weeks along.
She added: “It’s been tough in other ways because you might not all know this, but our last 12 weeks scan with our pregnancy wasn’t great.
“I had a missed miscarriage so I’ve been anxious and I don’t think I realised how anxious I was until I had the last scan and everything was okay.
“And I just felt like [exhales] I haven’t really spoken about it, because I’ve not felt like it’s real until the scan, so knowing everything is okay, it’s the biggest release in the world so just going to try and enjoy it now.”
She concluded by discussing her current emotional state as she heads into the middle stage of her pregnancy.
Rosie concluded: “Just really excited and I’m an emotional wreck 24/7 at the minute, thank you so much and I really look forward to sharing the ups and downs with you.
