Chris Evans has been snapped administering his own Covid-19 swab.

The actor, 39, was spotted in Boston on the set of new movie Don’t Look Up – which Deadline reports the Captain America star is joining the cast list for – on Thursday.

In snaps captured of the handsome star – clad in face mask and sunglasses – he appears to screw up his face as he pokes a nasopharyngeal swab up his nostril.

Proving that the movie location is adhering to coronavirus guidelines, The Avengers star was also seen having his temperature taken by a set worker.

Chris cut a laidback figure by stepping out in black jeans and a leather jacket.

Don’t Look Up, set for release by Netflix in 2021, is an American political satire disaster film with an all-star cast – including Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep and Kate Blanchett.

The script written by Adam McKay, who is also taking on directing of the film, tells the story of low-level astronomers attempting to warn mankind about an asteroid which will destroy Earth.

In September, Chris was left embarrassed after accidentally sharing a picture of a penis with his 6.1 million Instagram followers.

He made an epic gaffe when he posted a screenshot of his camera roll on Instagram, with one of the images on the screen being of a penis.

He then quickly deleted the screen recording just moments after posting it, but it was enough time for eagle-eyed fans to notice the explicit image.

He initially posted the video on Instagram to show fans a sweet clip of his family playing the game Heads Up, but accidentally suffered a blunder.

The “d**k pic” snap was not the only one fans spied on his camera roll, as another snap that showed Chris’ face alongside a text that read “guard that p**sy” was spotted too.
