Chloe Madeley shares clip of her newborn daughter Bodhi
Chloe Madeley opened up about the stark reality of C-section recovery after her first public outing with little Bodhi.
The 35-year-old – daughter of TV icons Richard and Judy – says she and rugby playing husband James Haskell, 37, are very much in love with their daughter after showing off the adorable new arrival.
Chloe gave birth on August 10 but admitted not everything went to plan.
They ‘cried like a baby when she came out’ and the new mum says she is blessed that she was “surrounded by compassionate, skilled, knowledgeable and experienced women from start to finish” after the difficult birth.
Now she has opened up about a bit of anxiety ahead of the first trip out as she marked a new milestone in her new journey.

Alongside a snap of her cradling a very sleepy Bodhi at a restaurant, the former Dancing on Ice contestant detailed the ‘baby steps’ she is taking.
She posted on Instagram : “6 days PP, a very impromptu meal (I say “meal”, really just a LOT of Iberico ham and a very large glass of rose) with a brand new sleeping piglet on my lap.
“Obviously you can’t really do much in the days / weeks following a c-section, add to that, recovery from any form of childbirth and or major surgery is KEY, so this 45minute meal felt like a REALLY big deal.
James Haskell and Chloe are madly in love with their ‘incredible’ daughter
“And after a little trepidation, it was, obviously, absolutely fiiiine. Baby slept, I ate, and everyone left happy!
“I suppose I’m writing this because I’ve always been a big fan of baby steps, it’s something I repeat to new clients on a weekly basis, but now it’s something I’m repeating to myself.’
“Whatever the end goal, baby steps. One thing at a time. No pressure, no problem. Self care, self love, and above all, PATIENCE.
“Clients, i will be citing this post to you in a few weeks time and, I miss you all.”

The pair have been parents for almost a fortnight after previously opening up about their fertility struggles.
Captioning a black-and-white picture of her baby’s hand, the star wrote: “We are delighted to welcome to the world our daughter. We are utterly besotted and beaming with pride.
“Our baby girl was born Wednesday morning, 10/08/22, 8.36am.”
Chloe’s followers and famous friends rushed to the comment section to send their messages of congratulations and well-wises to the new mum and James following their announcement.
